Miami Hotel, Bangkok 2013

I stayed in the Miami Hotel in Bangkok in June 2013. The hotel is situated on Soi 13 just off the Sukhumvit Road. It is a basic hotel but it is very clean, tidy, has an extremely good swimming pool and is reasonably priced. It is halfway between Nana and Asok BTS "Skytrain" stations both being less than 10 mins walk away. There are lots of restaurants and pubs in the area. The next soi, Soi 11, is taking off as a trendy area with lots of fine restaurants and pubs. On Soi 11 there is the renowned "Cheapy Charlie", the ultimate hole in the wall drinking establishment drawing a trendy local and ex-pat crowd - you've got to see it to believe it!
