"We do not require a seven night stay as some of the rental homes do, so we're happy to take obviously the longer stays, we'd love to have them here. And we do get a lot of people who come in and say they're only going to stay two nights and there's so much to do, they extend (their stay) and we love that. We'll definitely take two or three nights, even one night sometimes.

"Mostly they're coming here just to relax, to get away, to unwind, and that's what really nice about the Inn. As I said, every room is unique so every room has a little different perspective, but there are lots of nooks and crannies that you can, if you don't have a soundfront room that has a porch that leads out to the sound, there are plenty of places that you can go and sit and watch - bird watching is very popular in this area. Of course water sports are very popular in this area as well. It's just an opportunity to just unwind. It's a very relaxing, comfortable place.

"Each of them (rooms) are very unique, some of them are on the sound so they have a lovely view of the sunsets which is what we're known for. We also have fireplaces in some of the rooms on the Sound so people love that in the Spring and Fall when it's a little bit cooler.

"We're about a mile from the (Currituck Beach) Lighthouse, about a mile from the beachfront area. We are also a part of the Corolla Light Resort, so our guests can use those amenities. Once you get here, it's a fabulous place to be. Everything is self-contained, but it's not extremely commercialized.

"(The sunsets) They're gorgeous, they're fabulous. I think our gazebo is one of the most photographed spots in the Northern Outer Banks."
